1993
Brian Brooker thru-hiked a lengthy, multi-state section of the Appalachian Trail, stopping off in different New England trail towns each week to eat a pint of locally made ice cream.
2004
Brian and his wife Jamie spent a three-month, summer semester in Europe, traveling through Italy and 11 other countries, as part of his Juris Doctor/MBA joint degree program, where Brian was further inspired to create a super-premium ice cream business from experiencing real Italian gelato.
2005
Brian and Jamie return to Europe for the international portion of Brian's MBA, where Brian is further inspired by European ice cream during the time they spend in Paris.
2012
Brian took multiple university courses in ice cream production and also studied directly with ice cream industry leaders.
2017
Brian took further university courses in ice cream production and tracked down some of the industry pioneers, including making ice cream for three days in the basement of the original inventor of the ice cream flavor, cookies 'n cream.
2018

Brooker's Founding Flavors Ice Cream opens its first ice cream parlor in Vineyard, Utah.
2019
Glenn Beck repeatedly discusses Brooker's Founding Flavors Ice Cream on national radio.
2019
Glenn Beck scoops ice cream for customers at the Vineyard, UT location of Brooker's Founding Flavors Ice Cream.
2019
Due to growing national demand, Brooker's begins selling pints online and shipping ice cream to customers nationwide.
2020
Brooker's expands to open a second ice cream parlor location in Provo, Utah.
2020
Brooker's won “Best Ice Cream" in Instagram competition.
2021
Brooker's expands to open a third ice cream parlor location in Herriman, Utah.
2021
Brooker's again won “Best Ice Cream" in Instagram competition.
2023
Brooker's expands to open a fourth ice cream parlor location in Saratoga Springs, Utah.
2023
Brooker's won Best of Utah Valley in both categories “Best Ice Cream” and “Best Dessert”.
2024
Brooker's again won Best of Utah Valley in both categories “Best Ice Cream” and “Best Dessert”.
